Annie Chin joined RGS as a Human Resources Coordinator in 2017. Annie has over eighteen years of experience in the field of human resources with public sector agencies. She has expertise in disability management and coordination of medical leaves.
Annie leads the Disability Management and Leaves Team for RGS using her knowledge and expertise in the reasonable accommodation process for compliance with the Americans Disability Act (ADA), the California Fair Housing and Employment Act (FEHA), Workers’ Compensation, and Disability Retirement. Annie also has significant experience in leave of absence management and coordination such as the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), and the California Pregnancy Disability Act (PDL). In addition, she is skillful in performance management for employees and coaching for management.
Annie holds a Master’s degree in Human and Organizational Development, and a Bachelor’s degree with double majors in Leadership and Education. Annie has been a nationally certified Senior Professional in Human Resources Management since 2005 through both the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Outside of work, Annie can be found using her passions for photography, travel, foreign languages and cultures to find new and beautiful perspectives of the world and people around her.
