Since joining RGS in 2015 as a part-time graphics designer and developer, Eric helped develop, design and implement the current RGS Logo and Brand. He has also worked on several campaigns including the City of Burbank Walk-Shops, Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG) Measure L Local Roads First, and San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG) Self-Help SLO.

Eric’s career as a Graphic Designer and Art Director began at premier advertising agencies J. Walter Thompson and Foot Cone & Belding where he gained invaluable experience working on major accounts including Disney Interactive, Sprint, Levi’s, Netcom, California Lottery, Seaborne Cruises, Supercuts, and Borland International. He was also Lead Designer and Creative Director for TheMan.com, an innovative internet start-up in San Francisco.

In 1997, Samuelson founded Left Coast Group, which subsequently evolved into Samuelson Creative and then One Mind Communications – an Addy Award-winning advertising and design business serving clients in multiple industries including Renova Solar, Roberts Consulting Group, Custom Vintage Wine Cellars, Quantum Event Hosting, Centers for Spiritual Living, East Bay Regional Parks District, City of Berkeley, Salesforce.com, and Harbinger Sports.

Samuelson received his B.A. in English from the University of Virginia where he also received a golf scholarship and won prizes for poetry from the Virginia Literary Review and the Langston Hughes Literary Society.
