Project Management
Julie Spier joined RGS as a Project Coordinator in 2018 and has been providing capital project management services to RGS partner agencies.
Julie has over twenty-five years of public and non-profit – recreation experience, including master planning, site evaluations, public process, and start-up organizational development. She has managed projects from inception to grand opening and continued operations. Several of these facilities have won the Helen Putnam award and achieved LEED Silver Certification.
Julie has a bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral science and a master’s degree in recreation and leisure studies.
Outside of work, Julie’s passion is raising and showing national award-winning rabbits and she enjoys working with her husband on their small vineyard. When time allows, Julie and her husband enjoy traveling in California and abroad.
