Kris Humphries joined RGS as an Advisor in the Human Resources service group in 2010. During Kris’ tenure with the JPA, she has served many RGS partner agencies, for example, by conducting classification and compensation studies, providing HR guidance regarding EEO compliance, and leading recruitments, as well as by serving in transitional HR professional roles.
Kris has over thirty-six years of experience in local government agencies, including over thirty years in human resources management and consulting. Throughout her career, Kris has managed numerous projects, including union negotiations, labor relations, benefits administration, payroll, risk management, and workers’ compensation.
Kris has a master’s degree in public administration and has a certificate in human resource development.
Outside of work, Kris devotes most of her time to the library board, bookstore, and 44 Little Free Libraries, maternal health and family services, world travel, gardening, and swimming.
