Lyn joined RGS in 2018 as a Senior Advisor in Training and Development. She brings over twenty years of experience in organizational development as a teacher and consultant. She has taught classes in Leadership, Leading Change, Team Process and Decision-Making, Communication, and Foundations of Organizational Behavior at the University of San Francisco’s College of Professional Studies and McLaren School of Management.
Lyn’s consulting experience includes development and delivery of employee trainings to enhance soft skills and improve relationships with co-workers in areas such as leadership, communication, and self-awareness. Lyn is skilled in coaching, facilitation, and mediation in leadership development for directors and managers. She has a strong understanding of organizational culture, change management, process management, goal-settings, emotional intelligence, and employee satisfaction.
In the public sector, Lyn worked for the City of Santa Rosa as Sonoma County’s first Economic Development Manager for a city agency and designed and facilitated a process with Community Development (Planning, Building, & Engineering), Public Safety, Public Works, and Utilities to streamline the development process. She has also consulted for a variety of federal, state, county, and local agencies throughout California.
Lyn has a BS in Business Administration, Accounting from California State University, Hayward, an MA in Psychology, Organization Development from Sonoma State University, and an EdD in Learning and Instruction from the University of San Francisco.
