Nicholas Marinaro joined RGS in 2019 as an Advisor assigned to Public Safety. Prior to joining RGS, Nicholas had over thirty years of experience in Public Safety Fire Services for a California municipality. He has held such positions as Firefighter/Engineer Paramedic, Fire Captain Training Officer and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Coordinator, Fire Captain Hazardous Material Specialist, Battalion Chief, Deputy Chief Operations, Deputy Chief Fire Marshall and Fire Chief.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology from Stanford University. Additional educational experience includes the Stanford Physician Assistant Program and Emergency Physician Assistant Training. He has held certifications from the California State Fire Marshall as Chief Officer and Hazardous Material Specialist. Nicholas also attended California State University Long Beach in a Master’s degree program for Emergency Services Administration.
He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Peninsula Council of Lions Club and serves as a volunteer at the Second Harvest Food Bank.
