Scott Harriman

Scott Harriman joined RGS as a Senior Advisor in the Land Use and Regulatory Services group in 2016. With his background in historical, architectural, and infrastructure design review, Scott provides professional services such as revising local zoning ordinances, evaluating development applications, and preparing reports to commissions and councils.

Scott has over twenty-five years of experience in municipal planning. He has managed planning commissions and made presentations to many community groups, city councils, and commissions. He is experienced in working in high-volume planning agencies in challenging and time-sensitive situations and has had success in reducing permit processing turn-around time and implementing procedural improvements.

Scott has an associate’s degree in engineering technology and a bachelor’s degree in public administration. He is a certified planner.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys home life, family, travel and playing guitar and piano.
