Project Management
Shari Tavafrashti joined Regional Government Services (RGS) as a Strategic Services Consultant in the Economic Development Service Group in 2022. She serves as a consultant for RGS partner agencies focusing on identifying gaps in service and recommending improvement measures.
Shari has a master’s degree in civil engineering and organizational development and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. She holds a P.E. in civil engineering and a certificate of organizational development with an emphasis in finance and human resources.
Shari is a Senior Fellow at the University of California Institute of Transportation Studies and teaches a class on project management in addition to mentoring students.
Outside of work, Shari enjoys cooking and spending time in her garden, where she grows her herbs for cooking. She loves visiting with friends and family and taking walks by the bay.
