Steven Carmichael joined RGS in 2018 as a Senior Advisor. Steven has worked in the accountancy occupational sector for more than 23 years. He has managed city budgets, GAAP accounting; contract negotiations; information technology; human resources; payroll; risk management; purchasing; and debt management operations and functions. He has previously led the installation of computer network hardware and software functions of accounting, budgets, records management, mapping, planning, permits, and engineering for a public agency. Steven has earned the California Finance Officers Certificate of Excellence in Budget Automation Innovation award.
Steven has a M.A. in Ethics from San Francisco Theological Seminary and a B.A in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati.
