Steve Hancock joined RGS as a Senior Advisor in the Emergency Management Services group in 2017. As the Project Advisor, he designs, implements, and enhances emergency and disaster response programs for RGS partner agencies.
Steve has over twenty-seven years of experience in public safety as a firefighter and as an emergency management expert in public and non-profit agencies. He has served in numerous direct operational response and recovery efforts as a result of major wildfires, floods, and earthquakes and is an expert in local, state, and federal emergency management systems.
Steve has a bachelor’s degree in public administration. He has completed numerous state and federal emergency management credentialed courses.
