Yvonne Spence joined RGS as an Advisor specializing in clerking services in 2021. She will provide clerking services to RGS partner agencies such as noticing, conducting and managing public meetings, assisting with elections, responding to public records requests, and ensuring Brown Act compliance.
Yvonne has over twenty years of experience as a city clerk and deputy city clerk as well as many years’ experience in public administration. She has managed the administrative functions of the office of the clerk, worked with the county elections clerk to conduct city elections, and ensured that public meetings were held in compliance with all relevant laws and codes. She is skilled in records management in both the private and public sectors.
Yvonne has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has earned the designations of Certified Records Manager (CRM) and Master Municipal Clerk (MMC).
Outside of work, Yvonne enjoys playing golf and attending Zumba classes as much as possible.
