Economic Development
Bob Machuca joined Regional Government Services as a Senior Advisor in July 2023 in the Economic Development Service Group. Bob Machuca brings more than twenty-five years of real-world economic, community and workforce development experience, working one-on-one with businesses and fifty small, medium, and large Southern California cities. His unique private and non-profit sector background, including California’s largest county-wide economic development organization, provides a unique “on the ground” insight into solutions-oriented programs to help cities and businesses expand and become successful, resulting in attracting and retaining hundreds of companies and 50,000 jobs in L.A. County.
Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, has been honored with nine international, national and state-wide economic development awards of excellence, and resides with his family in Southern California.
Outside of work, Bob is passionate about landscape design and tending to his beloved Bonsai plants. Bob and his wife also serve the community by helping those in need.
