Ms. Malek-Zadeh joined Regional Government Services (RGS) as a Senior Advisor in the Finance Services Group in 2023 after retiring as West County Wastewater’s first female General Manager. Through her career, she has served as a General Manager/Chief Executive Officer, Director of Administrative Services, Finance Director/City Treasurer, and Administrative and Fiscal Services Manager as well as leading various city-wide special projects.
Lisa has an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies. She is also in the process of becoming a certified business coach with a focus on supporting women new to leadership roles, emerging leaders, and organizations committed to staff development for better business outcomes.
Outside of work, Lisa loves animals, especially her rescued Pit Bull, Farah, spending time on California’s Central Coast and storytelling in all its forms.
