Steve McGrath joined RGS as a Senior Advisor in 2021. With over thirty years of experience as a government and non-profit executive, he provides professional management and administrative services for RGS partner agencies.
Steve was awarded the Special District Administrator Certification from the California Special Districts Association. He is the Past President of the California Association of Harbor Masters and Port Captains.
Steve serves in executive leadership roles for RGS partner agencies. Reporting to governing boards, he takes action to implement policies of the Board, and monitors organizational activities and funding sources. In addition, as appropriate, Steve leads executive search efforts with the support of the RGS Recruitment Team.
Outside of work, Steve will travel for opera, do anything for his grandchildren, and enjoys his garden.
